Version 8.0.3

Released on 16th July, 2026

Patch release. Standardizes the form markup in five niche demos and updates the bundled PHPMailer. No framework changes, so 8.0.x projects can drop it in without retesting.

Updated

• Converted the contact, booking, and inquiry forms in demo-event-conference.html, demo-dental-clinic-contact.html, demo-martial-arts.html, demo-architecture-firm.html, and demo-prefab-homes.html to the standard Canvas .form-widget AJAX structure (form-result, form-process, include/form.php, prefixed field names, botcheck). Markup structure only, design unchanged. Placeholder submit simulations removed. Newsletter and subscribe forms intentionally left as they were.
• PHPMailer 6.9.1 to 7.1.1: all 7 files under include/phpmailer/src/. Same PHP requirement (5.5+), same namespace and file set, and the APIs used by include/form.php and include/subscribe-email.php are unchanged, so no code changes are required.

Version

• Canvas 8.0.2 to 8.0.3 (patch): version bump across style.scss, style.css, style-rtl.css, package.json, package-lock.json.
